Playing Catch Up

Here are just a few cute pictures of Macie. They are just random, but show her growing.

11 weeks old
She always used to sleep with her eyes half open. It was so creepy! But, whatever floats her boat!

11 1/2 weeks
Macie absolutely LOVED her bumbo! It was so fun for her because it was a different perspective. She finally got to see the world from a sitting position rather than laying down. She would last about 15 minutes in the chair before her muscles got too tired. Another funny fact about her Bumbo....about 99% of the time when I put her in it, she would poop! I swear something to do with that sitting position got her bowels going :)

11 1/2 weeks
We went up to my in-law's cabin for the fourth of July. This was Macie's first time wearing her cute little sun hat. This trip was a lot of firsts for Macie as well. We took her on a canoe ride down a river (it was really calm, no danger of tipping over). She had her own infant life jacket that her Papa got her and she ended up sleeping the whole way! We also took her for a ride in a Rhino, and she saw her very first fireworks! She was a trooper and didn't even get scared at the loud noise.

When we got home from this trip I took her in for her 2 month checkup (just a few weeks late) and she weighed 12 lbs 6 oz-61st percentile and was 25 inches long-97th percentile.

1 day shy of 4months old
Cute naked girl with a huge flower. I loved the look on her face. Macie has always been such a happy little girl. She is easy going and so sweet! She definitely makes me love being her mom!

Some fun milestones at her four month mark:
*Started to grab her feet and toes
*First time she slept in her own crib from out growing her bassinet
*Went for a ride in a ski boat
*Went to a rodeo and to Yellowstone/Old Faithful
*Welcomed her cousin Chase on Aug 8
*Rolled over from her back to her tummy
*Gave her first REAL laugh! It took Macie forever to actually laugh for us. And even once she started, she didn't continue. She is so stubborn with her laughs. If she likes something, she yells at it, grunts, or kind of half laughs and it comes out sounding like a cough. Stubborn little thing.....totally gets that from me :)

4 1/2 months
This kid LOVES her bath!! And I love to bathe her because she loves it so much! She could sit and play in the tub for an hour and not get sick of it. And she loves getting out just as much and she loves going in. Something about getting wrapped up in her towel gets her so excited. Cute!
