Unfortunately I don't have pictures to post with this entry, so deal with it! I just thought I'd give an update as to what we've been doing since I last posted. Last weekend Dallas' parents took off on Thursday afternoon for their cabin leaving us to run the clinic. These opportunities are really good for both Dallas and I. It gives us really good experience and insight to what lies ahead of us in the future.
On Friday Dallas and I spent the entire afternoon cleaning our house which really needed it! It felt so good to finally get things cleaned and looking nice. We get so busy with work that by the end of the day, neither of us want to pick up the house. We also dejunked a lot of our crap. It feel so good to get rid of stuff we don't need.
Anyway, that night I had a volleyball game, which we won because the team we played really sucked. I joined a rec team with one of my friends that I grew up with playing church sports and jr. jazz and such. It's really fun to get out and play again! I must say that I love the sport.
Saturday my nephew got baptized! It was really neat to be able to be there for that. He's such an amazing kid! We spent the afternoon at my sister's house eating lunch and hanging out with the fam. That afternoon Dallas and I hung out with Laurie and Ben and their girls. Laurie and I took the kids shopping while the boys played halo. We came back to find them still playing. We decided we wanted something for dinner, chose to go to Mo' Betta Steaks (Best place ever!!!! Go there! you must!) packed up the kids, and left the guys still playing. Came home to, guess what??? ....them still playing.........They eventually stopped to eat dinner, and then laurie and ben decided to head home since it was way past their kids' bed time.
Sunday we slept in practically until the last possible minute to still have time to make it on time to 1:00 church. Came home, napped it up a little, and headed to his aunt and uncle's house for their son's birthday celebration. MMMMMMMmmmm.......she was serving a snickers and an oreo cake. If any of you know me, you know that these are my absolute two favorite desserts. Of course I had a piece of both! Oi....
His aunt also introduced us to the yummiest snack ever. Buttered popcorn with sour patch kids. Best. Thing. Ever.

Then back home where I finally signed up for facebook. The thing is addicting. I was up until like 1:00 in the morning. Needless to say Monday morning came all too soon. Then last night the stupid bachelor finale was on, so I stayed up way too late watching that, and again, looking at facebook. Tonight, more facebook, blogging, and the rest of the bachelor.
We do have a fun weekend coming up. We are taking off early from work on Thursday to go up to our cabin in Island park. We are so ready for a vacation. This will be a blast!!
Oh yes! A shout out to my cute niece whose birthday was today! She was born 03/03/03. Cool b-day huh?
And a very special one to Laurie on thursday! Happy birthday sis! I love ya!

Aww how cute! Sounds like you 2 are busy bee's. My neice's birthday is on 03-03 also but in year 04! Hope you have a wonderful week! Talk to you soon!
