Super Fun Weekend

Dallas and I had such a fun weekend!  It was so great because we didn't have to go anywhere or do anything.  We were able to just go do whatever we wanted.  It felt so good!  Thursday night we went out to the Gateway for just something fun to do.  We walked around and ended up at Brookstone getting foot massages from the little machines.  It was heavenly, especially after walking around the mall.  This is just a pic of us each in our massage chairs.
Friday afternoon we went out to the Body World exhibit.  For those of you who aren't familiar with this, it is an exhibit of the human body.  There are actual bodies on display that have been dissected and put on display.  There were whole bodies, and different sections, like the heart, brain, lungs, fetus', etc.  It was one of the most amazing things I have ever seen.  I was absolutely intrigued with everything in the exhibit, but it was pretty much old news to Dallas since he dissected a cadaver in his anatomy lab.  He was, however, very impressed with the skilled dissection.  But it was really fun for me to have him there to explain things about the body to me.  After that we drove out to Provo to the jewelry store.  Don't ask why we went clear out to Provo, it's a long story and one that I'm not proud of :)  Anyway, on our way home from that, we stopped at Cabella's and I had Dallas give me some clues as to what he wanted for his birthday since it was mostly fishing stuff and I had no clue what to get on my own.  Needless to say...he will be semi-surprised on his birthday ;).  Then on Saturday morning I finally went SKYDIVING!! But I will do a post about that.  That afternoon the boys went golfing while us girls went to Wheeler Farm.  They had some fun Halloween activities for the kids to do.  Not that I have any.....but......It was still fun.  On Sunday we were asked to speak in our parent's ward.  No, we are not members of their ward, but both of our fathers thought it would be a great idea to tell the bishop (who Dallas and I know very well) that it would be a great idea to have us speak since we just got back to Utah.  So thanks dad and dan!  That night Shellie had us over for dinner and we made carmel apples for dessert.  Here are some pics of that.
A lady in our ward always makes homemade carmel apples and she gave us her recipe for her carmel.  It took us a while to get it right, but in the end........
It was soooooooooooo yummy!!!

That's all for the weekend!
